JBK Architects was founded in Lebanon in 2008 by its Principal Architect, Joseph B. Karam. Established as a practice grounded in modern, minimal, and contemporary design, the studio began by delivering carefully considered local projects, building a reputation through clarity of planning, disciplined detailing, and a rigorous approach to execution.
Over time, the practice expanded in both scale and complexity, taking on larger residential, mixed-use, and commercial commissions that demanded deeper technical coordination and a more comprehensive design process. This progression naturally extended beyond Lebanon, with JBK Architects now supporting projects overseas and internationally, while maintaining the same commitment to proportion, precision, and architectural integrity.
As the studio evolved, JBK Architects developed a dedicated interior design department to complement its architectural work and provide clients with a cohesive end-to-end experience. Today, architecture and interiors operate in close alignment, ensuring that each project is resolved as a single, coherent vision—from the overall massing and layout down to the spatial atmosphere and material expression.
